Large Area - Laser Screed Floors
Using the Laser Screed machine and skilled workforce Stanford use the StanAA joint system as permanent formwork with built in arris protection to pour and protect up to 2,500mē of high specification concrete floor per day.

Flatness categories used by this method include FM2 (special) and the stringent FM1 standard from Concrete Society Technical Report No 34 2003 3rd Edition as well as Defined Movement Categories from Chapter 4 (CAT1, Superflat etc) and Appendix C (DM1, 2 and 3).

Either steel fabric or steel fibre reinforcement is used in the construction of these floors, all of which have an independent UK Engineer's design warranty and insurance cover.

Superflat Floors
Stanford has not only concentrated on Laser Screed work over the last 20 years but has maintained the traditional skills of the Floor Layer to ensure that Defined Movement Category Superflat can be achieved with the absolute minimum of grinding.

Using either Long Strip Manual or Wide Bay Laser Screed systems the floors can be laid to this exacting standard without the recourse to substantial corrective grinding. Stanford has been employed from the UK to Korea to construct these specialist floors.

Pile Supported Floors
Stanford design and construct pile supported floors essential on some of today's Brownfield sites using the latest design codes and information including all forms of reinforcement - steel fibre and traditional steel bar/fabrics.

Numerous clients have benefited from this form of construction including Heinz, Debenhams, Lidl, Royal Mail and Airbus.

Decking and Hand Cast Floors
